_module_preset=\u00bbdefault\u00bb hover_enabled=\u00bb0&#8243; global_colors_info=\u00bb{}\u00bb sticky_enabled=\u00bb0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>La terapia <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Endodontics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">endod\u00f3ntica<\/a>, tambi\u00e9n conocida como tratamiento endod\u00f3ntico o tratamiento de conductos, es una secuencia de tratamiento del diente infectado que tiene como resultado la eliminaci\u00f3n de la infecci\u00f3n y la protecci\u00f3n del diente descontaminado frente a futuras invasiones microbianas.<\/p>\n<p>Los conductos radiculares, y su c\u00e1mara pulpar asociada, son los huecos f\u00edsicos dentro de un diente que est\u00e1n habitados de forma natural por tejido nervioso, vasos sangu\u00edneos y otras entidades celulares. Juntos, estos elementos constituyen la pulpa dental. La terapia endod\u00f3ntica consiste en la extracci\u00f3n de estas estructuras, la posterior conformaci\u00f3n, limpieza y descontaminaci\u00f3n de los huecos con peque\u00f1as limas y soluciones irrigantes, y la obturaci\u00f3n de los conductos descontaminados. La endodoncia incluye los tratamientos endod\u00f3nticos primarios y secundarios, as\u00ed como la cirug\u00eda perirradicular, que se utiliza generalmente para los dientes que a\u00fan tienen posibilidades de salvarse.<\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Preparaci\u00f3n:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>En el caso de que un diente se considere tan amenazado (por caries, grietas, etc.) que una futura infecci\u00f3n se considere probable o inevitable, es aconsejable realizar una pulpectom\u00eda (extirpaci\u00f3n del tejido pulpar) para prevenir dicha infecci\u00f3n. Por lo general, ya existe cierta inflamaci\u00f3n y\/o infecci\u00f3n dentro o debajo de la<\/p>\n<p>diente.
